My 11yo daughter is starting at Rochester Independent College in September, it's a small, progressive independent school that seems to be perfect for her. Fab write ups, she's loved the taster days and we love pastoral care and individualised attention the students get. There's no uniform, it's very flexible (my girl is a swimmer and they will be flexible around her training), and it just feels so wonderfully different from the norm.
However, it's quite boy-heavy for September and I thought I'd pop a little post on here to encourage parents to have a Google and see if it might be suitable for your children, my daughter's request as she'd love a few more girls to attend!
Happy to answer any questions, thank you!
