Hi all. Can anybody recommend private secondaries offering art scholarships?

Looking for schools in north/north-west London for my DD.

Thank you.

Highgate? Northbridge house?

Queenswood offers a 10% art scholarship

OhDear111 · 20/01/2026 16:24

Yes, Queenswood famously offered £0 off for scholarship holders. No doubt they need better pupils as results are way below what they were 15 years ago. Some of the careers mentioned aren’t that recent!

RatherBeOnVacation · 20/01/2026 20:28

@OhDear111 This is new from September 2026.

I’m not sure what you mean by out of date careers though. Last years leavers saw seven girls move onto arts based degree courses including Performance Design, Product Design, Illustration, Architectural Studies, Fashion Marketing, and Creative Arts Business at places like Royal Central, Leeds, Cardiff and York. Seems to me like their art offering is extremely good and leading on to great courses?

Queens wood I think gave GD £300 towards art materials. Second GD at Habs gets 10% off fees.

RatherBeOnVacation · 20/01/2026 21:34

@Rocknrollstar Queenswood is DEFINITELY offering 10% off fees from September

@RatherBeOnVacationRhe careers quoted on the web site. I know exactly who they mean! They are not recent leavers!

RatherBeOnVacation · 21/01/2026 06:25

@OhDear111 This is the only careers info I can find on the website? www.queenswood.org/learning/careers-and-futures/

OhDear111 · 21/01/2026 14:08

@RatherBeOnVacation. It’s this comment on the Scholarship page. One is Charlotte Bostock who definitely left before 2010 and the tennis player is Naomi Cavaday who left well before that. So, the careers of recent leavers are not quoted - for some bizarre reason. Plenty of ex scholars have very decent jobs! Although my DD thinks hers has little to do with Queenswood but that tends to reflect the system of favourites!
However - grab any money going!
