Hello, my DC sat the 10+ KGS exam last Saturday. I was wondering if anyone else here did that and what was the feedback afterwards? My DC found English fine but Math much more difficult than expected. Keen to hear if any other child felt the same. Also does anyone know how (post? EMail?) and when we will be given the results?

Sorry, last message cut off. Meant to say DS and lots of his friends didn’t get KGS offers at 10+ but did at 11+. The feedback they send in April (if you opt in) is also helpful.

You definitely should have received an email. Maybe check the junk folder. I advise to call them tomorrow. Honestly if the email got missing for any reason you can still hope it was a positive one

It’s an exam that you should positioned to your dc as practice for 11 plus and not expected to pass. They have a tiny number of spaces split between boys and girls - it’s the only mixed 10 plus option west of Emanuel. Not passing doesn’t have any bearing on success at 11 plus at Tiffin or the other high achieving schools.
