Westminster 11+ and 13+ Interviews

Hi everyone! There doesn’t seem to be a thread on here about Westminster. Has anyone received an invitation to interview yet?

Is this for 11+? For 13+, interview invites went out the same time as the second round exams - both invitations were sent on 10 December, I think.

We had the interview today. DS came out quite upset.
The interviewer (Head of the Under School?) was described as not very motivated, poker face, leaning back the whole time, with no effort to shake hands or even do a self-introduction.
He also assumed DS had a specific book in mind based on the invitation letter, and asked him to describe the book — but the letter only said to bring two school workbooks (or am I missing anything?). So DS was a bit lost.
This was completely opposite to all DS’s other school interview experiences, which were much warmer and more engaging. Ironically, he was most looking forward to this one originally.
Is this simply the Westminster personality? It felt very impersonal and quite snobbish — even in French family's eyes

Spoke to friend who’s DD did the 11+ and she took a book. Friend said Head of Under School is female so couldn’t have interviewed your

Thanks a ton this helps demystify it! DS applied for 13+ and was not asked to bring a book, rather two workbooks from school. The interviewer seems under master of the school (lower school, not under school, my bad in OP)
Unsure what's the best approach here - wouldn’t want incorrect information to lead to an unfair judgement about DS’s preparation...

Would anyone who sat this year be willing to talk about the process: what happened on the interview day, what kind of questions they were asked, for those who are sitting in the coming years? Also would love to hear more about the Westminster 13+ paper they sat in January. Particularly the English paper (was it comprehension, creative writing, both? What kind of level?) and how hard was the Maths? Thanks so much to anyone willing to shed light on it all…
