Has anyone received the St Paul’s 13+ email yet?

Just got the invitation letter. To those who also received it, what does “English paper…be asked to write a discursive piece in response to one of two topics given. There is no creative writing or comprehension task.” mean?

there is a sample of the discursive paper on the school website. They are writing an essay around a philosophical topic. I recall - is it better if everyone was paid the same for any job?

my son also got the invitation. Wondering how to prep (if at all!) for the English?
