GCSE art & design (craft)

Does anyone know much about this gcse? DD2 is interested in taking it but it hasn’t been offered before at her school so there isn’t much info.
She loves crochet, making pipe cleaner flowers, building things out of cardboard and hot glue and other crafty stuff but she’s not good at drawing and I’m not sure how creative she is as she normally follows patterns rather than making stuff up herself.
Does it sound like it would be suitable?

i only so far as DD did it. Some of her friends did do some 3D work. I’d say it’s written so that you can do well even if you don’t draw well, it’s more about understanding the concept and linking it to artists. There is a lot of drawing involved (or there was for DD) and a lot of writing though.

DD took it and it was mainly drawing and painting with some writing.
