Bursary applications fee-paying secondary schools

We have applied to a few schools, but we are still waiting for details on what documents we need to provide. I am trying to get prepared - we do not own a home (we rent), and have limited savings. How many months bank statements are required? If anyone has a list of documents usually requested, we would be very grateful.

3 months bank statements. Any evidence of savings. Incomings and outgoings. Payslips.

can one actually not show savings ???

I don't know. I showed them but also wrote in comments that the savings were needed to deal with urgent house repairs (all true)
