Looking for advices - How are students and the wider community finding the changes at Tiffin School under the new headteacher since the last Ofsted?

Thanks!

@Cendy in what context are you looking for these "advices"? Prospective parent? Current parent? Prospective teacher?

I had sons there under both heads. I'd say it's too soon to judge. The previous head was well regarded, and the school lost a few good senior teachers after he left, but I think it's common to have that sort of churn when there is a leadership change.

One bugbear as a parent was the new head's constant requests for donations - he is quite openly unapologetic about that though, and I don't suppose it will put off many applicants.

Agree with previous poster it is too soon to tell. I have a son currently in year 8 so don't know what the previous head was like. But my son is certainly happy at the school and it really isn't the hot house that some would have you believe.

As for the asking for donations, that needs to be put in context with other schools, all of which do this now. As far as I am aware all the local schools do this including the primary schools. I was annoyed when it first happened and it goes against my views regarding state education, but we are where we are, and the head would be foolish not to do this when budgets are tight.
