Imperial Maths School (sixth form)

Hi All,
Bit of a long shot but was wondering if anyone has any experience of their child attending Imperial Maths School in north London for sixth form. Since it is so new it's difficult to find much online and we were unable to attend the open evening as we were on holiday when they held it (DC current school's half term was a different week to theirs).
If your child went there / is currently there, are they happy? Are they well supported for UCAS applications? I am aware that it's very competitive to get a place.
Thanks

DS had an offer to go there but didn't take it up in the end. Have a look on The Student Room, you might find more info there. Students seem to speak of it highly as did the ones we met at last year's open evening.

It's a small school next to Woodhouse College which is highly rated and having access to doing a 4th A level there, as well as sports etc, is a bonus compared to most of the other maths schools.

To me, it seemed a bit more Physics/Engineering orientated compared to other maths schools and this was maybe reflected in its first cohort's A level results which were amazing for Physics and exceptional for Maths.

DS took the entrance test for several maths schools and he thought Imperial's was the hardest. It also asks for significantly higher average GCSE grades than its peer maths schools.
