Hi
Can anyone tell me if there are any private school buses to Wallington County School that run from The Crystal Palace area?

Does it have to be a private bus? The 410 goes to WCGS according to the tfl site

Thankyou very much yes I am aware of the 410 but just wondered if there was an independent bus going there. Probably not.

Tbh, with free travel on buses and trams, I'd be surprised if there was much demand for private coaches etc, for state schools at least. Even where we are, where we have to pay for schoolchildren on public transport, the only actual private services I know of are those ferrying in OOC pupils to the grammar schools (and when DD's grammar did send out details of a potential private service only covering a more local route already served by rail and public buses, there was no interest).

Just wondered as I live in the north of England and there are buses to transport pupils efficiently from probably a 10 mile radius to the grammmar school. Thought it might be the same elsewhere. Anyway Thankyou for answering my enquiry.

My son just got into Wallington and we live close to Crystal Palace. he will be getting the train from Norwood Junction (5 mins on the bus from Crystal Palace) to Wallington which is 12 minutes, then it is a 10 min walk to the school.
