Beths, Bexley Grammar or Chis and Sid?

For a very bright, musical, not at all sporty, eccentric boy.

Very different intake and results, esp Beth’s. Have a look at gcse and a level results and compare

Bexley does IB but progress pretty much the same at KS5. Chis and Sid and Bexley marginally higher at GCSE.

Following for another very bright boy who is also eccentric and can struggle to make friends

I have this same profile of child and I liked Beth’s for him but I, put off by how cramped it is and by some negatives views people have about boys schools in general. Otherwise, I really think it’s a wonderful school for eccentric boys. Chis and Sid is a bit too cookie cutter for my son and I don’t think he fits the mould. I’m seeing BGS t9morrow and I’m hopeful it’ll be a good fit. Looks great online and heard great things. Of those I know making the same choice for their (non-eccentric) boys and girls, they’re all choosing chis and Sid.

Have you visited them all? What do you think? ….let’s hope our eccentric, clever boys find their tribes.

I wasn't too keen on Beths following the open day and much preferred Chis&Sid, however realistically we have more chance of getting into Beths. Would love to hear from parents who have already got boys there!

We haven’t visited as he’s not quite y6 yet but just starting to explore
