Kent Test Results 2025

Ss2ree · 15/10/2025 10:28

I am feeling so incredibly anxious about the results tomorrow. The wait has felt painfully long.

I understand from my email from Kent County Council that results will be emailed from 4pm. However, I am aware that previously parents have started receiving their emails as early as 11am.

I want to wish everyone good luck tomorrow and no matter what the result, I am sure your little one has worked their socks off and made themselves proud.

Good luck!

Watching so I can see when results start coming in......

Good luck

My grandson gets his results tomorrow too. He definitely worked really hard, but he said he enjoyed it! He also enjoyed the exam! Fingers crossed everyone but it isn't the be all and end all. My other grandson didn't pass and is still doing exceptionally well at his state comprehensive

It just goes to show that you can do well and it doesn't need to be a grammar school.

I’ve already started refreshing, why am I like this. 😀😭 Anxiously awaiting results for twin sons, one of whom should sail through and the other whose math mocks have been decidedly borderline - but who was diagnosed with ADHD three days before the flipping test. Argh. Could go either way I think but there will be grounds for an appeal - he wasn’t medicated and wasn’t awarded the extra time he would have received had he been diagnosed a few months earlier. Hopefully it won’t be necessary, but I don’t feel wholly confident…

Best of luck to everyone! Hope you get some sleep tonight and happy news tomorrow.

My daughter wants it so desperately and I’m so nervous for her. Hoping it is earlier than 4 as tomorrow will be a very long day!

ThePaperBagPrincess · 16/10/2025 06:20

Final countdown is on 😬 The waiting is horrible - I just want to know now so we can then make our plans with whatever the outcome is...hope everyone else is holding up ok!

I’m a Kent Test tutor and also have 3 DCs that have gone through the process. The DCs are late teens and 20s now so I’m just concerned with my students now.
Yes, the results usually start coming through at 11/12.
Good luck to everyone 🍀

I am so nervous. My DD mocks were fine but she missed the Bexley cut off by 2 she was devestated and now really anxious about these results. As am I for the emotional fallout if nothing else. I do suspect she has some form of ADHD or similar which we are starting to investigate.
Hopefully results will trickle through as they have published the 2025 results excel sheet on website now

Pigsteperis · 16/10/2025 09:13

Tips from having been exactly here last year - the emails start rolling out around lunchtime. Remember they are sending out thousands of emails - so don't worry if someone you know has heard and you haven't, it is not done in any sort of result order (so don't try and read something into it!).

If you sat the Shepway as well as the Kent, the results went live on the Applicaa system at about 10am last year. Worth being logged in and refreshing....

I am also incredibly nervous. DD sat it last year, her results came in at 13:55, thankfully it was a pass. Now going through it again with DS, I know he's capable but lack of consistency is a problem, so it's literally 50:50. I didn't realise emails could come as early as 11!

Purpletoes what do you mean by excel sheet?

Kent County Council have published the excel sheet showing the spread of scores for this year. It's here: Kent Test results - Kent County Council

Good luck everyone...have had four DCs go through the Kent Test process so I know what a looooong day results day can be!!

ThePaperBagPrincess · 16/10/2025 09:43

Checked for my older one and I got the email at around 11:30 a few years ago so hopefully I won't have to wait until 4pm today!

Edited

Shepway results started coming in from the boys' school at around 10am - I haven't heard any reports of results from Folkestone Girls yet. Two strong passes for us - we are so relieved.
