Hi there

Looking for feedback on Graveney School at Sixth form. Especially from anyone whose child joined from another school. Looking for my daughter who is coming from a small girl’s school and hoping it isn’t too big and impersonal.

Thanks

The sixth form is MASSIVE!

The teaching is good and the teachers do know their classes.

The sixth form does have a lot of new students who have come from the S London independent schools.

I've heard anecdotally that there are sometimes a sufficient number of students all arriving at the start of y12 from e.g. the GDST schools that those kids often stay as each other's core friend group throughout the two years.

Dunraven did a great job at sixth form with all my DC’s arts and humanities A level friends.

Less good for sciences.

They ask for higher GCSE grades than Graveney.

Dunraven, Graveney, Charter and Kingsdale 6th forms all good
