Son with Dyspraxia

My son is starting year 10. We have been assessed and confirmed that he has motor Dyspraxia. He uses a laptop at school for 90% of his work. One of his new teachers has asked for the homework to be printed but we don't have a printer. Do you think I can ask school to print this off. If this is going to be a regular thing then should I consider a printer but I have no other need of a printer at home. Up to now all his work has been saved on his school OneDrive that can be accessed by him or teachers if needed.

Thanks

I would arrange a way for him to get it printed at school if possible. DS has dyspraxia but didn't really use a laptop until 6th form college. However he had a lot of support at school including TA time in most lessons and a reader/scribe for exams.

We also don't have a printer and I think I'd say if they need work printing out, they need to make that possible for you.

Thank you. I will email school and ask if they can help.

The school will have printers that students can print work out on. They won't expect every pupil to have one!
