If you have a DD at Rosebery school, Epsom, could I please hear your experience/opinions of the school?
We are right on the border of catchment so Rosebery isn't guaranteed but could be an option by August, we will be applying for grammar schools but they obviously aren't guaranteed either :)
We need to decide on the preference order for the form, and what other schools to include. Currently considering Resebery, Graveney in Tooting and Greenshaw and Glenthorne schools in Sutton?
DD is clever, probably about top 10% in class, but definitely not top 1%. I struggle to decide if she is academic - she is fine doing 11+ prep with me, but we don't do more than 30-40mins and not every day, and she will only sit down after me nagging her. So I wouldn't say she is very studious.
She loves sport and is quite sporty, does cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, basketball and cricket. Loves art and music (drums).
Would love to hear your opinions about any of these schools, both good and bad please!
Would also appreciate advice on any other schools that we can include as a back up which are accessible from Carshalton/Sutton.
