Gerrards cross grammar schools

We are considering moving to Gerrards Cross and would aim to send our children to a Bucks grammar school. It looks okay for girls but the catchment areas for boys seem a bit risky (ie Gerrards Cross is at the outer end of the RGS Wycombe and Chesham Grammar catchment areas ). Assuming our son could pass the 11+ how likely is it he would actually get a grammar school place at at least one of the schools? Any advice much appreciated as I’m new to the bucks system

Would you be in catchment for Dr Challenors? I know Gerrards Cross used to be a black spit for boys but I thought that had changed. Also, do not assume your child will pass the 11 plus - any child can have an off day & make sure you are happy with the non grammar alternative.
Have you looked at the elevenplus exams website

Thank you. Technically it’s in catchment for challoners boys but last year’s stats show no-one as far as Gerrards Cross got in
