Online School Options

Hi, I’d be grateful to hear people’s experiences with this please.
I am looking into online schooling options for DD who is starting year 10. After several years of school anxiety and very patchy attendance, it has finally all unraveled. We are being offered temporary part-time at her current school, which would very much be my preferred option, but I know that realistically we will just be back to refusals and with additional medical appointments her attendance will be shocking.
So here I am, considering online schooling.
Is this just for academically bright, motivated children?!
Is it feasible whilst also working? Do I need to be able to massively support learning, in terms of subject knowledge?
Obviously, their websites say they are all absolutely marvellous, but what are they actually like?
Any recommendations / ones to avoid?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

thanks

We use Wendover online school. DD started a year ago. She had previously really struggled with anxiety at school which led to her not attending lessons and then not attending school altogether. I couldn’t recommend them more, they understood her needs and have been supportive and she is now fully engaged in learning. She needed some support at first to get to grips with technology. Now she manages independently. I don’t now need to help her with anything. Happy to answer any questions you have.

Thank you @IndigoSkye I’ve not come across them - I’ll take a look. Glad it’s worked for you.
