Tutor for English

Hi,

I am looking for a tutor who is reliable and can help my son, who is going into year 7, with English. With English as a second language, he is particularly weak in comprehension and creative writing. Any recommendations will be welcome.

Have you checked websites like Tutor Hunt or My tutor? I think you can specify if you want an online tutor for face to face

Are you looking for in person or online? If you would like someone in person, we’ll need at least an idea of location.

Some people prefer a bilingual tutor for ESL and some people don’t.

Both those factors will help you find the right person for your DS.

Hi @SiuMi. I can dm the email or number of a friend of mine that tutors English if that would help. I have given her details to a few mumsnetters and they have been really pleased with her.

Forgot to mention. We are in Sutton area and prefer a face to face tutor. My son will definitely day dream when it is an online one.
