Shirts or polo shirts?

Hello, first post here.

Two DSs (years 9 and 11) starting a new high school in Aberdeen (moved from Manchester) in 2 weeks. Uniform is a sweatshirt with a choice of either blue polo shirts or blue shirts and ties. Ties are optional though. Which shall we go for?

Whatever they would feel most comfortable in. That's how we decided what DS wears now he's started S1.

I would go for polo shirts. Less ironing and ties belong in another era long ago. Especially for children.

You're totally right about itoning but I wouldn't say shirts are outdated.
