Hello,

I am thinking about applying to St Joseph’s high school in Wrexham for my daughter next year. We go to an Anglican Church but she does not have any of the baptism certificates they ask for does anyone know hard it will be to get in?

thanks

I’d advise reading the wrexham
schools guide on the councils website if
you haven't already done so. Going to a faith primary or attending church doesn’t guarantee a place and admissions are very strictly managed. It’s very oversubscribed and very rare to get a place without strong religious attendance and baptism/christening evidence. They have their own forms that must be signed by your church. Look at your other local schools and go to their open evenings they may not be as perceived. You might be surprised!
