Moving School in Exeter

Hi everyone!
Both my kids go to Thomas Hall School as a asecondary. I am very dissatisfied with it. My older (daughter) has been attacked multiple times, school communication is absymal and the curriculum for both is IMO lacking and loosing rapidly. I have tried multiple times to move them through the DCC website, but to no avail. They are not twins/SEN/kids of armed forces. So we get rejected.
Do you know how to to do it? Tricks? Tips? There are tons of dates and different procedures on the website, I am mildly adhd and am the one of the family doing the paperwork (d'oh!).
I don't like my kids being stuck in a school that, despite all good efforts from the staff, is feeling sub par.

Thank you for all your kind answers.

My daughter also attends thomas hall school and we've been having problem after problem with them. My daughter was filmed under the toilet doors the other day and the way the school has dealt with this is absolutely useless.

Sorry I can't be of any help, as in a similar situation to you. Luckily my daughter is in her last year now, but her education has suffered irreparably due to their lack of support.

What school are you trying to move them to? Devon County Council should be able to tell you which schools have spaces and I think if they have spaces they can’t refuse your application
