deciding between two schools in year

Hi guys,
can you please give some insight regarding coomb girl v hampton high school. Trying to decide between the two for year 9 admission. Hampton high is easier, coomb girls seems to have better grades... any suggestions are welcome. Thank you

If you report your own post and ask MNHQ to put the school names in your thread title it will be more likely to catch the eye of people who know these schools.

Hampton High has had some issues over the last few years, and their grades did dip, but it has a new Headteacher and its Ofsted report says the issues are being addressed - they wouldn't have given it a Good rating if they weren't confident of that.

I don't know Coombe Girls School - you'll be lucky to find someone who knows both as they're in different boroughs.

If I was you, I would go for the closest school so that your child can create and maintain friendships more easily and isn't exhausted by commuting.
