Where to live for MGGS

Our DD got accepted at MGGS in Maidstone and husband works in Bromley . What will be the best place to stay with easy commute between Bromley and Maidstone girls school? We are looking for good residential areas, low crime rate and close to railway station. Some location where DD can take a direct bus 30 mins ride to school is also ok.

What kind of budget do you have? Ditton might suit, it's got a direct bus to Maidstone that takes around 35 mins, and would be a 40 min drive to Bromley. There's quite a few properties on the market right now. Properties For Sale in Ditton | Rightmove. Or Aylesford is 5 minutes away (and has the nearest train station to Ditton) but average property prices are higher.

We are looking for access to public transport like train and bus and short 30 mins journey for both Bromley and MGGS

Ah okay. Otford would fit that, it has it's own rail station and takes 35 mins on train to get to MGGS, and 25 mins to get to Bromley by train. Properties For Sale in Otford | Rightmove. A lot of places aren't very well connected by public transport so it's difficult to find a place exactly in the middle of Bromley and Maidstone that has an equal commute, Otford is probably as close as you'll get

Where do you live now and are you looking for something similar or different? I think picking up from a previous poster, the best thing to do would be to drive along the Bromley South to Maidstone East rail corridor and see what appeals in your budget.
