Moving to Maidstone

We are moving to Maidstone for my child's school. Which are good areas to live walking distance to Maidstone Girls Grammar school and near Maidstone East station.

Haven’t lived there for years but when I did, I think Queen’s Avenue was nice - safe feeling and good houses. It’s off the London road and so you’d be walking down Buckland Hill to the station. Very close to that school. Perhaps have a drive around that area to start off?

Places like Whitchurch close are also worth a look. Think there’s a fair number of cul de sacs above the London road and they’re nice too.
