DD2 has just told me that school have lost her first GCSE photography folder 😩 it’s never left the school so the school are definitely at fault. They’ve folder her to start redoing it but obviously it’s far too late for that now. Any art teachers know what happens now? We don’t want her to just get special consideration as I think that’s just 3% uplift as a maximum. HELP!!

There is a protocol for dealing with lost coursework.

It helps if you know what you're looking for - I'm sure that when you start quoting JCQ regs, they'll see the error of their ways!

I can’t believe they have told her to start redoing it when the exams have already started!

I know. I was so cross when she told me as she needs to be revising, not redoing work. The photography teacher hasn’t even emailed or called me, so I suspect she was trying to cover it up. I’ve emailed the exams officer and head of year, and said I want it sorted asap.
