DD had Maths today, & is dreading the German essay paper tomorrow.

SHe said she was reading examiner reports, and most people taking the AS & A level Germans are native German speakers??? She says that's why they have to make the papers much harder!

I think next week is busy for her as well, but she only has History after the half-term so will be able to relax for a bit.

DS2 Had Maths also last Thurs. (Core 2?) Said it was OK. He has also had G Studies (2 exams) "easy" but they "don't count"! Maths again next week then a weeks respite until 5 exams on one day (RS, Biol) then 2 Chemistry I think. Will be glad when it's all over.

DS2 had Geography skills and Maths C1 & C2 this week. Seemed fairly happy about them but he does not expect high grades. Rest of Geography, all of Business Studies and a Statistics paper next week, then only Economics after half term. Then there will be retakes and retakes ...

Maths, Eng Lit & French next week! Then half term, then history.

German went OK but they were in a classroom, not the hall, so was noisy outside
