School not replying- maternity leave

I sent an email to my head of faculty principal requesting to go work part time. I have not heard back from either of them.
I even sent another email to my head of faculty asking him to confirm he received my email and no answer.
(I have sent it to the right email address- he didn’t reply to an earlier email I sent in which I mentioned my daughter had been born but I know he saw it because someone else from work congratulated me…)
Anyone venture a guess?
Any ideas as to what I could/should do? (I am not in the country atm)

You need to send a flexible working request to the head teacher/principal. Please follow the exact guidance on .gov website (there will be a template).

If you do it unofficially they can just say "no".

Send a Flexible work request. The school then have a number of days to respond. I can't remember off the top of my head! How long ago did you send it?

2 months! Sorry I've just read our policy.
Your FWR must include: date of request, change you're requesting, date you want it to begin, any previous requests you've made.

Apparently you can make 2 requests a year

Read your school handbook policy but it likely says a process to follow. In my case it was to submit a flexible working request to the Head in person.
