Cedars school or Wimbledon College

My DD has been offered a place at the Cedars with a 10% sports scholarship and a place at Wimbledon College. I am looking for opinions on both schools as we need to.make a decision on Cedars by Monday. We have already accepted Wimbledon College.
My son loves sports also enjoys drama and we would want him to go to a school that will offer both sports, drama and academic as his academics are equally as good giving him that all round experience. We turned down Whitgift and Royal Russell due to cost. 😥

Anyway with recent experience of WC or Cedads able to give some insight into both schools plse?

Hi, I know people at Wimbledon and have a son at Cedars. They are very different schools. Cedars is very small and nurturing, it punches way above its weight in sports and offers some great extra/co-curricular opportunities. My son is happy there. The boys I have met - and the teachers too - are lovely, welcoming and well rounded.

The people I know with sons at Wimbledon are pretty content with it as well, but obviously it’s much bigger and I think the experience depends on which set the boys are in.

Does single sex matter to you - if so, you’ll be aware Cedars is going coed in September.

Cedars - about 26 per year (I’m told). Wimbledon College - 199 per year!

Cedars will grow in September since it’s merging with the girls’ school but yes, it’s very small (which for us was a big plus).
