Does anyone know if the local authority updates the parent portal if you’ve been offered a place at another school?

My council does not seem to reply to emails but I’ve been checking the parent portal in the hope they update that?

I guess it depends on your LA - mine doesn't but my neighbouring LA (Haringey) has a live waiting list site that updates your waiting list number in almost real time.
