First poster - be kind!
My children have spent their primary years in international schools in Africa. We are planning to return home to Scotland next year and want to be within an hour’s drive of Perth. International schools are known for being welcoming to new children from different places and are very diverse. I realise no Scottish state school will give them a similar experience but are there any schools in the Dunblane/Stirling area that are used to new kids from elsewhere eg those who have moved up from England. Kids with different accents, different experiences.

My friend moved back from the middle east and chose dunblane for the reason you described. She thought of all the places Scottish kids with an American accent, used to an international school would be least likely to be bullied in Dunblane. As state schools go it's meant to be one of the best and Dunblane itself has a reputation for being quite posh.

Thanks! Did it turn out as she had hoped?
