Hi I'm curious to hear about your experience at any of the above school. I'm trying to wrap my head around the classic coed versus all-girls school dilemma for my dd. We're also looking to move houses soon, so I really want to make sure we make the right decision through seniors. any pointers please?

Go to the schools open days. It not only about coed vs single but the style of teaching and report. The GCSEs curriculum on offer and selection of subjects. A levels and sixth form will it be automatic or only at certain grades. The main point is DD and where you and her may think they will be happy and thrive.

I only know JAGS, so can’t help you choose, but girls only would be my choice every time.

Open days, and also normal school day visiting, will give you a feel for the place and its ethos. You’ll know if it feels the right fit.

Thanks @NancyJoan how’s the pastoral care in JAGs in your opinion? DD is someone who is ‘quietly’ confident in herself but can do with more guidance and support.
