Hi can anyone please share their feedback/experience about Glenthorne high school sutton in recent time? As I am moving next month near to this school and I searched up for this school information and came to know about very poor reviews on this School's Facebook page(I do not know it is true or fake so asking here). So please share as much information as possible about studies, teacher's behaviour, pastoral care etc.My child is very sensitive so I am confused and worried too. Please see attached below image of facebook review.
Thank you

I don't know it personally but know of families with kids there who are happy. It's a very popular school. Don't be put off by a couple of bad reviews. You don't know the context of the situation and those families.

It does have a very complicated admissions policy though, so check that out, as pupils from nearby don't always get places.

Agree with the above.
I live close by and I see the children on their way to school, they seem well behaved.
I am putting it as first choice (after grammars) for my son in couple of years.
the local feedback is that the school is strict and some people take it as negative and complain about things like confiscating phone and for some it is exactly what they want.
Yes, children who are distruptive (due to SEN or not) will probably not be happy there.
Also people who are happy dont tend to do reviews on google.
Its those who feel they have a complain that would post everywhere online.

Do also note that distance is not the only criteria for admissions. It is more of a lottery system. Greenshaw is also good school close by.
