Kendal area - secondary schools

Hi there we’re relocating to the Kendal area and would love to hear opinions on the secondary schools?

We like Kendal as less touristy but still things going on, friendly etc. So we’re starting with Kirkbie Kendal and Queen Katherine.

Any experiences welcome thanks!

Also other secondaries like Queen Elizabeth would be interesting 😊

Which Queen Elizabeth? There's one in Kirkby Lonsdale and one in Penrith. I know kids from Kendal who go to Dallam.

My DS didn't particularly enjoy QKS but I think he would have been like that at any school. They were very supportive and there were lots of extra curricular activities.

Hi thanks, it does sound like QKS a little more supportive and positive than KK, though I know it's partly down to individual experience.
