Brampton College Hendon for Sixth Form

considering moving our DS from an independent school to Brampton College based on smaller class sizes and frequent testing as our DS is bright but not an independently motivated student so think that might suit him better in staying on track and teaching potential. However, wanted some insight from those with first hand experience about the school and the two year sixth form journey.

Thanks

My son went and had a good experience. A long time ago though. He had sparky teachers who cared and a cohort who had all screwed up at some point but were mostly motivated to do well. It's expensive but if your DC is up for it then I think it's a good option.

My son got three A levels and went to university and then a job. He's currently travelling in South America but that's another story.
I'm very proud of him and Brampton kept him on track.

Thanks - assuming he was at a school with a sixth form before, was there a reason for the move to a sixth form college? And what did he do for lunch? One thing I did find different from his current school was lack of an eating place. The couple of common areas seemed pretty small for number of students. In practice do they eat away from the school a lot?
