Cardinal Vaugham Waiting List

Hello,

We have been put on a waiting list for Cardinal Vaugham secondary school in London The message we received from the school was that we are on a waiting list and we should not call the school. We are tempted to call the school anyway to increase our chances of getting in. Does any of you know the school and recommend calling it? Thanks

If they've said don't call the school I don't think completely ignoring this and calling them will make you MORE likely to get in. Possibly, less likely though.

the admission process is done by random allocation. Calling will do nothing.

CV was my first choice but my son got a place at the London oratory instead - our second choice. My only concern is the distance for London oratory. I am on the CV waiting list.
My question is should we wait until.thet get back yo us or appeal instead?

Appeal on what grounds?

Why would you think that doing what they've asked you not to do would increase your chances of getting a place? Btw it's 'Vaughan' not 'Vaugham'.
