Sports at Hampton school

Hello
Any parents who has DS at Hampton school?
I would like to ask about sports there. I understand there are amazing ground and facilities on site, but because of school bus situation and they need to leave 4pm, they don't use those facilities after school at all?
Do they have enough sport during school time or most of kids do at their rugby/football club? I'm thinking to send my son, who likes rugby, but I was hoping they do practice at school...
if you can share your experience, that would be great! Thank you!

The facilities are definitely used after school - if you are playing A or B team sport there will be days where there is after school training and pupils miss the 4pm coaches. My son has left the school now - I think there was a limited late coach network for a time, I'm not sure if that's still true, but we usually lift shared with a group of other parents for the late pick ups.

I think it's only rugby and cricket that are after school and LEH run a late coach that you can pay to use. Most sport is during the long lunch break and during the afternoon games session. If you enjoy football or rugby then many dc play for a local home team too and have 1 training season during the week and play a match on a Sunday - the school expects this to keep a level of fitness etc. You can see the results on the instagram page or look at the fixtures results on the website. I don't think the sport is a lot different to other schools that depend on a coach service etc.
