Year 7 back up plan

I live in Chiswell green AL2, my son is year 4 now, and preparing 11+ exam for South West Herts schools. Due to the distance restriction, we can only try Parmiter's, or St clement Danes / Croxley Danes which have no limitation on the distance.

As the competition seem to be so keen, I am thinking the backup plan, any thought ?
