Is there anyone with girls currently at OHS who would be happy to give me their views?
I’m particularly interested in how girls manage homework if bussing in from some distance away.
What are the music opportunities like?

My daughter (year 9) started there this September. She moved from co-ed state school (Cherwell).

It's early days but she is thriving at OHS. The headmistress is very engaged and I have been very impressed with the pastoral support so far. The teaching has been excellent and there is not reliance on devices such as iPads (this is causing major issues at Headington and Abingdon school).

We are very happy we moved our daughter and have had an extremely positive experience so far.

Apologies, to answer your queries. There does not appear to be an onerous amount of homework, we live locally so don't have the experience of bussing in.

My daughter is not muscial but some of her friends are and it appears to be actively encouraged (music lessons run during the school day etc).
