QCL extra costs

Hi,
My DD has been lucky enough to have an offer for year 7 in September, along with two scholarships (drama and art). We would be stretching to pay for her fees, so I was wondering if there are many 'extras' that I should account for. Could anyone estimate extra costs beyond the school uniform for year 7 - e.g. textbooks? excursions? food (assuming she can bring her own lunch, but on the occasion might buy)? Anything else?
Thanks so much for your help.

Hi, I was wondering about lunch at QC earlier today. Website seems to suggest a PAYG type arrangement but the menus are set as a full list not a per dish type thing. Does anyone know how much school lunches are and also if it is common to have them or more common to take packed lunch?

Following with interest as I couldn’t figure it out either. Based on other schools I was figuring it’s probably about £450 a term but not sure.

@GummyNut from what I am hearing you will need to purchase a device/ laptop in the beginning of the year. You will get a link to purchase with discount.
There will be additional cost on school trips and outings. There is a ski trip in y8 cost about £1.5k. Majority goes but it isn’t mandatory. I think most trips are optional.

Thanks @luludzing - that's really helpful and what I suspected re: device. Also, good to know about ski trip, which I suspect (or maybe rather hope) that is one of the major trips in the first 2-3 years of schooling there.
