Hi,
Do any of you have sons in St Albans School , independent school for boys? Could you please share what kind robotics clubs do they have?
Do they complete in VEX, UK First Lego League or something like this?
What about math challenges, i.e. UKMT? Are everyone allowed to compete? Do you know how many kids get in Kangaroo/ Olympiad?
The same question about computer science. Do kids compete in Bebras, British Informatics Olympiad, etc?

Thanks a lot for sharing

You can see a full list of their clubs here Co-curricular Programme - St Albans School
They have a VEX club, I'm unsure as to whether they go to competitions with this, but I'm sure it's something that your son could bring up to the teacher in charge of the club if he is interested.
RE the maths challenge, they say that 'We encourage fluent problem-solving at all age levels, and all pupils in each year group enter national mathematics competitions. Our pupils win a huge number of awards each year, and many qualify for subsequent rounds.'- From memory a lot of the boys go on to further rounds, quite a few to kangaroo etc
They do enter kids for Bebras too.
