Travel to Whitgift School

Hi,
Our son's favourite school is Whitgift. Has anyone travelled from Kensington Olympia on a daily basis to Whitgift?
What areas would you recommend to live in that are good for Whitgift school, Dulwich College and Victoria? Clapham seems to be the area being suggested as has train to Whitgift, school bus to Dulwich and train to Victoria (for work).
Any suggestions welcome! Thank you in advance!

That's a bit of a trek from Kensington.

I know people like to slag off Croydon, but it still has some really nice residential areas. If Croydon doesn't appeal, the walk from South Croydon station takes 12 minutes.

Lots of Whitgift boys living in Southfields, Wandsworth Balham, Clapham etc. also Putney and Wimbledon.

Loads of boys in my sons year travel from
wimbledon and Clapham, they either catch the train or the school bus....seems to work pretty well. Always the option to flexi board for a couple of nights from y9 also.

Olympia to Croydon is a straightforward journey - I know Whitgift boys who travel that route

Super useful. Maybe we do it until we figure out if too tiring/where to move to. The train timetable shows that a train from Olympia at 07:21 gets to East Croydon at 07:52.
I guess we have to do some more homework! Smile
