Academics at Bryanston

I've read about Bryanston letting children drift academically. We've visited the school, were hugely impressed by what it has to offer and we definitely got the impression that the academic quality was there. I want my daughter to achieve the best academic results she's capable of, whilst still enjoying the undoubtedly fantastic art and sports facilities. Is Bryanston too much of a gamble? Would love to hear about some positive experiences on the academic front please ????

Sons from a family we know went there. One is doing Medicine the other at agricultural college. The latter definitely didn't drift as he got better results than family thought possible and now doing really well

It used to have a reputation for being “gentle” and not pushing too hard. Often was used by people who didn’t necessarily require dc to do well because paid work was not a top priority. However I do believe this has changed and more people expect dc to work hard and achieve well. If you like it, your dc will surely find like minded dc.
