Remote assessments

Hi All,

DS is giving assessments for Year 8 entry for independent schools up north. We currently live in London. Is it common for the current independent school to invigilate my DS for remote assessment for the new schools as we can't travel.

Whether or not this arrangement is 'common'in the experience of a random bunch of people on the Internet, surely what matters in your case is, will the specific schools to which you are applying allow remote testing, and will your specific current school facilitate it? Which is something you need to explore for yourself with the schools concerned.

If the a swer to one / both is 'no', then presumably your will have to reconsider your ability to take your DS to the schools 'up north' to sit the assessments on site.
