Offers:Interviews:Applicants London coeds

Does anyone have rough numbers for offers:interviews:applicants for the London co-eds? I'm especially interested in
Alleyns, Emanuel (10+ & 11+), Kingston Grammar (10+ & 11+)

I'm sure people would be interested in ratios for many schools - it's so hard to know how good your odds are when you get to interview for example. Thanks!

Yes, would be good to know. I only know for Latymer they said in email they had over 1,350 applications and invited 450 for interview. I am not sure how many offers they make. I am guessing perhaps 200? As they over offer.....but never quite sure by how much.

For KGS, around 900 applicants and they interview a third for an offer or waiting list.

Emanuel interviews more I think, so whereas at KGS and also Latymer most who interview get waiting list at least, Emanuel does turn down quite a few who are interviewed. I suspect they interview 400-500 but don't know for sure.

Any of these an interview is a very good sign, a bit less so at Emanuel.

Thanks all. We got a no from the KGS 10+ today and they said nearly 300 applicants for 25 places. I'd read around 40 to interview so much tougher than the 11+ (I hope!)

I am sure they must have interviewed more then 40....as I assume the over offer too? Sorry to hear it was not good news for you.

My son didn’t try for kgs, so I can’t say for sure- but mine tried for Hampton 10+ and didn’t get it- they offer about the same amount of places and a large portion of those boys accept but end up taking places at kings, tiffin St Paul’s etc. I don’t know the results yet of the 11+ but he was offered interviews at kings, Hampton, latymer..

Suspect KGS don't interview many more than 40 at 10+ as no real need to over offer. One of my DCs say it and don't get a place, no one we know who sat it did. Most then got a place at 11+.
I know a few boys who got a 10+ place at Hampton and accepted it. ( my DS included) and none of them ended up going there. They do well on the 10+ deposits!
