I'm moving my two sons back to Nottingham and I am seeking some advice on a secondary and primary schools in Sutton in Ashfield.
Can anyone help?

There is only one secondary actually in Sutton – Sutton Community Academy. It's only 900 pupils and is about to close its undersubscribed sixth form. Ofsted good.

If you head down the road towards Kirkby-in-Ashfield there is the huge Ashfield School – more than 2500 students with its own athletics track. Probably a better bet for secondary tbh. I would always prefer a larger than a smaller school. Oftsed also good.

No idea about primary tho sorry.

Edit to add: I see you talk about Nottingham – if you are actually in Nottingham then these schools are a bit of a hike (like, 15 miles +) for no reason. But if you are moving to the Sutton area of Nottinghamshire then happy days.
