Eton College 2028

Anyone else signed their son up for Eton in 2028? We’ve had an email inviting our son to have a tour of the school (he visited last year so it’ll be a refresher for him). Does anyone know whether all children are invited for interview or just those who perform well in ISEB?

The children who performed well in ISEB will be invited to the interview and the Eton list test.

Does anyone have any information about the Eton list test ?

it included multiple sections, including short memory test, writing, etc. not standard test, but definitely related to your academic ability.

Thank you very much for your kind reply. Does multiple section consist os maths, English,NVR and VR? Is it similar to ISEB? Also I wonder which type of writing they usually ask? Sorry asking so many questions I couldn’t find any information about Eton list test anywhere.

Have you heard back on the ISEB results from them ? Am in similar situation and I have not heard anything from Eton just yet . This waiting game is just killing.

We also have not heard back yet. We are expecting to have an email next week. As they mentioned that the results will be emailed to us mid December.

it is not like a standard test, divided into sections you mentioned. it included wider range and each child won't do same sections. so it is different to prepare but just prepare as normal test, it is by the end an acdemic test.

What do you mean mock ? Where did you do the mock , we didn’t do any mock at all only use Atome and Cgp books for practice

Yes, We did many mock tests from atom for ISEB but we did not do much for the second round because there is not much information about Eton list test.
You never know until you get the results fingers crossed.

Century Tech - to clarify, mock ISEB, not mock Eton Test. I did speak to a boy who took the Eton test this year. He said it was incredibly stressful. One exercise was a spot the spelling error. The text moved up the screen rather than staying still so you had to spot the error fast before it vanished. Also, I recall the head of admissions saying that depending on how you answer the question, you get sent down a different set of questions. A child who believes they had an easy test might in fact have done badly whereas the ones who pass walk out with their heads hurting.

hello Eton invitation are out , kindly any prep advice for parents who has taken the test recently would be more than welcomed.
