Hi Everyone
My son is attending North Bridge House senior and we're looking to move him to a state secondary school from Sep '25 so he can start his Y10

We have recently moved to Golders Green.

Do you have any recommendations for a good state secondary schools ?

No idea.
However it will be a point of what schools have places at the time, plus you have to take up places within around 4 weeks.

I would consider identifying suitable schools, applying, and then moving as soon as space appears even if that means losing a term and a half's fees.

Y9s will be choosing options this term, and some subjects may be numbers limited (eg tech ones).

It will probably be worth either starting a new thread with a location or asking Mumsnet to change the title by reporting it... your thread title won't get you the help you need.
