Year 8 extra help/ revision

DC is in y8, but has had lots of different teachers in a few subjects and doesn't seem to get much homework. Feels unsure in some subjects and would like to do a bit extra at home to "catch up" and feel a bit more confident.

Apart from BBC Bitesize, what reputable resources are out there to help?

Oak academy/continuity? Depends what subjects…

Thanks both.

Any recommendations for English and Sciences would be great Smile

CGP books are pretty decent. They usually have books that cover the syllabus (it won’t be an exact fit, but will cover the NC) and some subjects will then have q&a books to test knowledge and prep for end of unit exams / recap.

Some schools have their own revision guides or knowledge organisers for each unit. Have you contacted the heads of department to ask what resources they recommend?
