SchoolCloud Parents Evening System: A question

Parents evening is coming up for our son in year 13. He normally attends with us but this time he will be at home and both of us parents will be at work. I made the booking and invited DH, but there is no option to invite anyone else. My question is: if DH forwards his invitation to our DS, will DS and DH both be able to join using the same link from 2 separate devices? Or will the invitation link only work once?

According to their website, up to 5 people can be on one call they seem to mean 3 teachers and 2 parents.

I know we can just try it, but I don't want DH to be locked out if DS beats him to it. Has anyone tried it previously?

Honestly, ours claims that if you send the invitation then you can have the parents in different devices but it never works and my husband always gets kicked off! I wouldn’t like to try my luck with 3 devices.

Good question. I’ve used this as both teacher and parent, I regularly get two parents separately but I can’t recall if I’ve had 3 people join one call. I think I have, but it might have been a pair and a single. It would definitely be worth getting in touch with school to ask 👍

I always forward to email to my husband and we both log on from work. I never invite him.

As a teacher I offer have 2 but never had 3 and so don't know if it would work, but equally no reason why it won't!

Yes. We always have exactly the same issue. One of us joins and one gets kicked out... every time!!!
