Graveney (Tooting) - Y6 already admitted?

Hi all

a local parent whose daughter is in Y6 has told lots of people her daughter has ‘got into Graveney’. Does this mean the selective stream have already been told if they have a place? I’d understood that all offers would be made on National Offers Day?

DC is in the same year and scored 262 - we haven’t heard anything so got me wondering.

I think with 262 you're pretty much certain to get in. I suppose I wouldn't tell other people my child had got in with a score below about 270 or something, just to be on the safer than the safe side.

Above 250 you should receive an offer on March 1st and above 245 you'd be extremely likely to be offered by September. DC2 scored 246 last year and was offered a place a couple of weeks after 1st March if I remember correctly, or perhaps during the Easter holidays but certainly well in advance. So I would totally understand someone who says their child "got into Graveney".

With a score of 262 it would be a shocker if OP isn't offered a place given how places were allocated over the past 5 years.
